St. Louis Clean Cities Receives $162,454 for Diesel Emissions Reduction to Replace School Buses in Jefferson County, Mo.
Environmental News FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE (Lenexa, Kan., March 20, 2015) - The non-profit organization St. Louis Clean Cities has been awarded $162,454 to replace one bus from the Jefferson R-VII School District in Festus, Mo., and five buses from the DeSoto Public School District No. 73 in DeSoto, Mo. The new buses purchased under this grant will have EPA-certified engines meeting 2013 standards

EPA Reducing Air Pollution from Old Diesel Engines; Grants Provide $1.18 Million to Protect People from Harmful Air Pollution
(New York, N.Y.) The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is supporting local efforts to reduce air pollution in the New York City metropolitan area by providing a total of $1.18 million to help two organizations replace old, dirty diesel engines on boats with less polluting models. The projects will cut emissions of harmful nitrogen oxides and particulate matter among other pollutants
